Upcoming for November

Thanks to everyone who picked up their cookies! We did a great job for our first ever cookie sale!!!! We are so proud of our girls.
Everyone who attended the Bell Manor Event and Harriet's Happiest Halloween had a great time. The girls really enjoyed the spooky dancing at "Harriet" and so did the adults.
Coming up next week at 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 5 (Thursday) is the Daisy/Brownie Dance at St. Francis de Sales' Kilduff Hall. The girls will receive a patch, complete a craft and dance of course! Girls attending please bring one canned good for the church's food pantry.
Don't foget, if you signed up for the cookie booth at Lowe's, our first is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 8. Our second is 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 15. We will send out a reminder e-mail next week to remind you when you signed up. Thanks again to Miss Lisa for the awesome signs!
Because of school's being closed on Nov. 5, we are moving our first/third Thursday schedule for November to the second and third Thursdays. The Nov. 12 meeting (which the girls will want to come to...there's cake involved!) will be at Miss Mary's house. Directions will be e-mailed to you. It will still be at 6:30-7:45. We will be talking about Juliette Gordon Lowe, founder of the Girl Scouts and celebrating her birthday (which is Halloween). To get ready for the meeting, the girls can read more about her here: http://www.girlscouts.org/who_we_are/history/low_biography/.
The second meeting in November will be at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at Abingdon Elementary's cafeteria.

Sunday's Conowingo Event--Cancelled

We just received word that unfortunately this event has been cancelled by our cluster. We are very disappointed and were looking forward to fun on Sunday. We had already sent in our money for this, so will get it back to you once it's returned.
Saturday's event is still on!

Cookie Booth Sales

We have received our time/place for our cookie booth sales. The times are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 8 and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 15 at Lowe's. We really need everyone to sign up for at least an hour. Cookie money will allow us to do more things without asking for money from you for our outings. So any time you can spare we appreciate. A special thanks to Kayla's mom Miss Lisa for our FANTASTIC cookie sale signs that we'll be using at the booth. These will help a lot. Thanks so much!
Thanks to all our cookie sellers!!! You did a great job for our first cookie sale!
